West coast dental laboratory launches new dental training web site

SACRAMENTO, Calif., Jun. 5, 2004 – Frontier Dental Laboratories, the second largest dental laboratory on the west coast, is launching a new web site to serve dental professionals. The new web training portal is linked to a newly-constructed 4,000 sq ft video training facility and a dedicated high-speed Internet connection from American Web Services.

American Web Services provided Frontier with ArrowClick Software to power the web site. After customization, this software system provides content and document management, event scheduling and registration and a private extranet for the dentists. American Web Services also provides a managed server platform that includes domain, web, email, database and secure hosting.

Frontier, which employs more than 80 dental technicians, creates many of the complex dental restorations and veneers for independent dentists. "The new web site and video training facility will help us offer the highest quality interactive training over the Internet," said Garrett Caldwell, Director of Operations. "With a multi-camera setup, we will be able to practically dive inside someone’s mouth to make a point."
