About American Web

American Web Services, Inc is a privately held company managed by James Barker, President and Ed Williams, Chief Technology Officer. The two began working together in the early 1990's organizing digital data on CD-ROM and authoring some of the earliest CD-ROM productions in northern California by incorporating images and sound in an interactive linking format. With the advent of the first Netscape browser in 1995, the team began publishing digital content and organizing databases on the Internet with Fortune 500 clients Kodak, AT&T and Alps Components and managing high traffic local sites including the California Lottery and Secretary of State Bill Jones. Over the years the two have been involved with the development and maintenance of thousands of websites worldwide.

Software Development

In 2002 American Web Services acquired the ArrowClick brand and integrated its extensive library of code into one of the most modular, cost-effective and well designed Internet software collections. In 2004 American Web Services was awarded the Microsoft® Empower Independent Software Vendor designation and in late 2004 was chosen by the California Republican Delegation as the software of choice to manage operations at the 2004 Republican National Convention in New York City. In 2005, American Web Services became a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner and celebrated the certification and launch of ArrowClick Version 8.
